The Official Handover Ceremony of Swiss Cooperation Office management from the outgoing Country Director Markus Dubach to Felix Fellmann took place on 12 June. Markus, who has led the SCO Mongolia successfully for the last six years said, "SDC will continue to work for poverty alleviation and the sustainable use of natural resources. Felix and his team will do the best to keep the work blooming", and he wished a fruitful and successful collaboration between the two countries.а

The event was hosted by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Switzerland to Mongolia Mr. Blaise Godet and many other distinguished guests from diplomatic missions, colleagues and friends from Mongolia and Switzerland were present as it also marked 45^th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Switzerland and Mongolia.

One of the highlights of this year's anniversary celebrations was a visit by Swiss jazz singer Eliane Amherd, who performed live at the handover ceremony and at the "Jazz in UB concert" at River Sounds Live Music Club.

"Comics Country Switzerland" exhibition is being hosted in Ulaanbaatar from 12 June to 30 June, 2009.Therefore we invite you to take a journey into Swiss comics and enjoy the exhibition, which is displayed in Alliance Francaise Centre between 18-30 June.
